FISH MOLEE

Ingredients
  •     Fish (as per your choice)
  •     2 medium sized/ 1 big onion sliced
  •     1 medium sized tomato sliced
  •     1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger
  •     1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic
  •     Curry leaves
  •     Green chilly as per your taste
  •     Pepper powder as per your taste
  •     Salt for taste
  •     Turmeric powder
  •     Oil
  •     Lemon juice
  •     Coconut milk(first,second)
For marination
  1.     Add salt,pepper powder and turmeric powder, lemon juice into a bowl , add water as per the quantity of fish and make a paste of it .
  2.     Add fish into it, add mix well and keep it aside for about 20-30 mins.
Cooking method
  1.     Add oil into a pan, and add marinated fish and shallow fry.
  2.     When the fish is fried enough, then off the flame and keep it aside.
  3.     Now take a pan/kadai/clay pot and add little oil, add ginger,garlic,curry leaves,green chilly and onions. Saute well till it becomes transparent.
  4.     When onion is transparent, add tomatoes and saute well.
  5.     Then add pepper powder,salt,little turmeric powder for colour and saute well until the raw smell goes.
  6.     Now add fried fish pieces and cook in low flame for about 3-5 mins.
  7.     Now add second coconut milk and cook for about 10-15 mins.
  8.     At last, add first coconut milk and add lemon juice as per your taste and turn off flame and add some curry leaves for garnish.
  9.     Fish Molee is ready to be served
