CHICKEN STEW

Ingredients
  •     Chicken 1 kg
  •     2 medium sized potatoes
  •     2-3 cloves
  •     10 cardomom
  •     A small sized cinnamon stick
  •     1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
  •     2-3 tablespoon of pepper powder (as per your taste)
  •     1 big onion/ 2 medium sized.
  •     3-4 green chilly ( depends on the spice level)
  •     1 tablespoon of finely chopped ginger
  •     1 tablespoon of finely chopped garlic
  •     Curry leaves
  •     Coconut milk ( first and second milk needed )
  •     Salt for taste
Cooking Method :

1. Take a cooker, add cleaned chicken and chopped potatoes along with salt and half a teaspoon of vinegar. And cook till 3 whistles.

2. Take a pan, add 1 tablespoon of coconut oil or any oil as per your preference. And add chopped ginger,garlic, onions,green chilly and curry leaves and saute till transparent.

3.. Meanwhile take a mixer jar and add cinnamon sticks,cloves,cardomom and cumin seeds into it and make a powder of it. And keep the jar closed until it need to be added.

4. When the onions saute well, add pepper powder, our masala mix which we grind and mix well and saute well till raw smell completely goes.

5. Add boiled chicken and potato into it and mix well and cook for about 2 mins.

6. Now add second coconut milk and cook for about 10- 15 mins. Check whether salt needed or not. If needed, add as per your taste.

7. As a final touch, add first coconut milk and don’t cook too much and off the flame and garnish it with some fresh curry leaves.

8. Chicken stew is ready.
