•     1 cup roasted vermicelli/semiya
  •     1 tablespoon ghee
  •     3 – 4 cups milk
  •     Raisins 8-10
  •     Cashews 10-12
  •     Green cardomom powder 1 teaspoon
  •     1/4 cup of sugar
  •     1/4 cup of condensed milk
Cooking Method :

1. Firstly add ghee into a pan and heat it up. And add cashews and saute till it becomes brown and then add raisins saute till it plumbs up.

2. Keep it aside for garnish.

3. Pour milk to a pot. Let milk boil in low to medium flame .

4. Add vermicelli ( roasted) and boil it until cooks well.

5. Keep stirring. Otherwise there is a chance of burning.

6. Add sugar and condensed milk as per your taste. And mix well and cook for about 3-4 mins.

7. Add cardomom powder and off the flame if the payasam becomes pouring consistency.

8. Garnish it with fried cashews and raisins.

9. Semiya payasam is ready.
