Apple and seed muesli
MAKES 7 CUPS V D P C Q
⅓ cup sunflower seeds
¼ cup pumpkin seeds
⅔ cup shelled hazelnuts, coarsely chopped
4½ oz/125 g buckwheat flakes
4½ oz/125 g rice flakes
4½ oz/125 g millet flakes
4 oz/115 g no-soak dried apple, coarsely chopped
4 oz/115 g dried pitted dates, coarsely chopped
Method
1. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the seeds and hazelnuts and lightly toast, shaking hte skillet frequently, for 4 minutes, or until golden brown. Transfer to a large bowl and let cool.2. Add the flakes, apple, and dates to the bowl and mix thoroughly until combined. Store the muesli in an airtight jar or container.
